Look for complete sentences

Hi everyone, in my old MacBook Pro I used to to look and find for complete sentences looking for them in quotations marks “ “ but with my new MacBook Air when I look for a sentence in quotation marks it does work so I have to look for a specific word but I need to find a complete sentence , I principally look for them in folders with a lot of PDF files, please help. What do I have to do ?

Preview search function not working I recently 'updated' my MacBook pro (regret it, because so many things are no longer working properly now) to Ventura. Now the app 'Preview' is not working like it used to. While it can still search for a word it no longer allows me to search for phrases. I used to be able to search for a phrase within a pdf using quotations (i.e. searching for the term "made known"). Now it no longer searches for the term and I have to type in the two words without the quotations which then returns every single use of the words in the phrase (i.e. every 'made' and every 'known'). This is incredibly inconvenient, a waste of time, and has made my job more difficult. The pdfs I need to search through are at minimum 40 pages and up to hundreds. How do I get the search term functionality back? I have searched all over the internet for a solution and have found nothing. Yes these pdfs have texts and are not pictures No these PDFs are not password protected Yes I have safe booted Yes I have opened both table of contents and thumbnails and then tried searching Yes I've exited using command + w and reopened the pdf Yes I've opened the pdf from preview > file instead of finder Yes I've exported the file as a pdf and tried to reopen it

How can I remove all paragraph breaks in Pages for Mac I have downloaded a transcript. It has way too many paragraph breaks to go through and delete each invisible paragraph marker. Is there a way to remove all of them? I was trying to "find" and "replace" Does anyone know of a better way?

Unable to delete Grammarly from MacBook Air I have scowered the internet for days about how to delete grammarly, It is considered AI at my university and unacceptable and it is so important that I delete it before I start any essays. The issue is it wont close in order for me to trash it. First I attempted to close it regularly, still open. I then force quit it, which still left it open. and then I had to learn what the activity monitor is and force quit those, yet it keeps replacing itself once deleted. Why does it have a recovery feature when its force quit??? what do I force quit to delete that recovery feature? I need to get this off my laptop to I dont get flagged for academic misconduct.
