Do your Part: Report this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what fixes to include in updates to come. Probably all over globe wide about so many times of this occurrence, and yet Apple has done nothing about it. Well, to their credit, Apple barely reads these forums as it is on their own time and effort. So, to get some credit towards making this a fix, do you part and report it to Apple. Apple will know nothing of this occurrence, if you don't report it to them.

1. Go Here: Feedback - AirPods - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: on when you came access it issue, and how you have troubleshot it thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

I am having the same issue my iwatch is connected to my IPhone 14 Pro Max and that is fine but keeps wanting me to set up on Iphone14 Max (work phone). After researching they had the same issue years ago with a software release. This is so annoying.

Same here. Keeps asking me to setup my already setup Apple Watch 6. Very annoying.

I also see this screen, but I don’t even have an Apple Watch. And this screen appears all the time, quite annoying. It started with iOS 17.5.
