Numbers: how to convert to currency not of my Region using CURRENCYCONVERT?

I need help to restore currency of a cell after it is replaced (as side effect of duplicating formula) due to Fill Right from adjacent cell; currency is not of my Region.

Example is cell was USD but now replaced with CAD as side effect of Fill Cell Right from adjacent cell which has latest formula which this cell needs. .

When you filled right it filled the cell format along with the formula. It sounds like all you need to do is reformat that column as $.

CURRENCYCONVERT does an actual conversion from one currency to another based on the exchange rate. This does not sound like what you want to do. It is giving you three dots probably because it is not connecting to get the data or the server is slow and is not giving a response.

Instead of dragging, use Copy followed by Paste and Match Style. The formula will paste without changing the format.

How to build formula of a cell to restore formatting of adjacent cell affected by Fill Right Action?

Example is Y13 needs its formula to be updated from X13; however, its currency was overwritten from USD due to Fill Right of X13 which has CAD currency.

I tried to use a Function to restore Y13 currency. But CURRENCYCONVERT returns only three dots; no errors and no value. CURRENCYCONVERT is in Y12 for test purpose.

CURRENCYCONVERT if it works will be incorporated into formula of X13 so that Fill Right Action does not overwrite currency of Y13.
