When burning Audio CD from iTunes, the app does not create pre-programmed pauses between the tracks. Why?

The same happens when burning Audio CD from ADOBE Audition — external CD player simply does not see the pre-programmed pauses between the tracks, which definitely SHOULD be there on the disc, and immediately jumps to the next track right after the end of the previous one.

In order to actually incorporate the pauses, I have to manually insert a 4-5 seconds of silence right after the very end of every composition to be placed on the Audio CD. But it is a bit strange solution.

Hi,

Many thanks for the response.

The articles you've recommended point out to crossfading between songs, not about creating pauses.

Also they discuss playback aspects of the tracks in Music app, not the CD layout creation.

When making a CD layout in iTunes or Audition, I have provided everything to create the right gaps between the tracks. But, for some unknown reason, the finalised CD, being played back on a standalone CD player, has no pauses between tracks at all.

Hello,

Thank you for the reply.

My MacBook Pro with Mojave OS does not support the Music app, but the latter is just an updated version of iTunes, which, unfortunately and by some unknown reason, ignores to create the pauses between songs, accurately pre-programmed before burning the CD.

I suppose the problem lies somewhere else. But where?..
