Fitbit app for calories

I wore a Fitbit watch and used the Fitbit app for many years. I love the Fitbit dashboard where I can see my steps, total calories burned, see my activity, log my food, see how many calories I have eaten and how many I have left in a day (taking a 500 calorie deficit into account to help me lose weight), etc. I just recently got an Apple Watch and the Fitness and Health apps are not providing me that same convenient data. I really kind of hate them. Is there ANY app that will sync with my Apple Watch to keep track of at least my calories burned and where I can log my food and see how many calories I have left in a day taking a calorie deficit into account? I’m trying MyFitnessPal but don’t want to pay for the premium subscription and it’s not very user friendly, helpful, or providing me that data.

There are lots of them. MyFitnessPal is certainly one of the more popular. Personally, I preferred LoseIt. It has (or used to have) a much nicer dashboard. It also has a subscription option for some of its features, but I believe it's about half the price of MyFitnessPal for the annual subscription.

The reality is that you'll probably have to pay to get everything you want.
