Magnet application open but missing on dock or menu bar

I've been using the Magnet application for a long time but while the application is open I can't seem to find it after I open it. On the activity monitor, I can see it's open, but it's not visible anywhere on the toolbar or on the dock, or anywhere. I've tried deleting and redownloading it, but I ran into the same issue.

Anyone any ideas?

Applications remain in dock after closing Mac > Desktop & Dock > Show recent applications in dock is toggled off in my settings. And yet, most applications (that are not pinned to my dock) remain in the dock after closing them. Only a few disappear as I expect them to. I can't even find a pattern (i.e. type of app, developer, or other) for apps that close and apps that don't. For instance, Skype and Teams remain in the dock, while Zoom disappears. Notes remains in the dock, and Reminders disappears. I can't even find app-specific settings that I can control. When I say "close" I mean clicking the red x button at the top left. The behavior I expect is that unless the app is pinned to the dock, and with "Show recent applications..." toggled off, the app will disappear from the dock. But it only disappears if I right-click on the icon and click Quit. What am I missing here?

The Dock and FCPX? Last year I complained that I was getting irritated by the way the hidden Dock kept popping up accidentally when my cursor unintentionally went too far below the timeline in FCP X. A number of solutions were suggested but eventually I decided to keep the icons small and visible at all times. Today I decided to try hiding the dock but when I moved my cursor to the bottom of the screen it did not appear. This baffled me for several minutes until I discovered that the cursor needs to be at the bottom of the screen for 3 seconds in order for the dock to appear. Can this timing delay be altered?

MacOS Ventura Showing Dock Application Hovering Titles In Fullscreen I use the dock at the bottom of the screen on my desktop. When I have an application in full screen and I hover my mouse along the very bottom of that full screen application, I still have the titles of my applications on my dock that pop up along the bottom of the screen. This is really annoying and obstructive as they are pretty large and won't go away unless I finick with the mouse along the screen. The problem can be slightly remedied with a smaller dock size, but I really like the way I have it. Is there any fix to this or why this might be happening? I have already restarted and updated.

You can drag most any application to the Menu bar from the Applications folder.

Command Tab will show running applications...

if no insight or resolve then post some reference or link to your "Magnet application" (?)
