Accessing my library in MacOS Monterey 12.7.4

I am trying to access my Library in MacOS Monterey 12.7.4 and when I enter Command Shift H it takes m directly to apple.com. Am I doing something incorrectly? Thank you.

Try CMD+Shift+period to toggle in Finder to show or to hide hidden files and folders.

Or...

~ tilde indicates  your user library folder

Apple hid the Users' Library folders...

Method 1:

  1. From the Finder, select the Go menu at top of the screen, and choose Go to Folder.
  2. In the window that opens, enter ~/Library, and click Go.

Another way to get to User Account >> Library

In Finder

Hold the Option key

Finder >> Go and still holding the Option key

This will reveal the Library that is normally>> not visible
