I can't upload an Instagram story

"I can't upload an Instagram story: On my iPhone 15 pro max, I can easily add and upload a post shared by a person on Instagram to my story, but I cannot add any photo from the photos application saved on my device as a story."

Ending App Errors:

A. Close All Apps:

An app is likely not responding. So, close all apps. Hold you finger down as you swipe up. Then, close all of these open apps, by swiping up quickly for all apps. Then, try this once more.

B. Perform a Force Restart:

Instagram is not an Apple Product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support  or Instagram Help Center

For months now I can’t share stories on Instagram through my ipad, but I can through my iPhone. When you go to share (it’s my own personal page or my own business page, listed as public with no restrictions of sharing content) you get to the stories page and there is no final share button. It just doesn’t exist. It’s been this way for months now and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to resolve it. You can see that there is no share button here…I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache…It’s a bummer I have to do everything through my phone when I have a really good ipad (from 2021) that has worked fine until this past January. Any help/suggestions welcomed!
