How can I sign in to iCloud on a computer with only an ethernet connection?
I've been using iCloud desktop for Windows (Windows 11) for years, and when I sign in to iCloud, normally it requests a code that I receive on my iPhone, and all is good. But recently, after entering the code, I get the message "To sign in with this account, you need to enter the code from a device that's close by. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on or your Apple device is on the same Wi-Fi network as this computer".
The problem is that it's a computer with only an ethernet connection, no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Is there any way around this problem? It's become quite annoying as the iCloud sign in screen keep popping up, even after I close it, and I do want to continue using iCloud (notably for the integration with MS Outlook). Thanks for any help you can give.
