Brand New Macbook Pro Max & Photoshop Scratch Disk Issue
Hi,
I just bought my first Macbook Pro M3 (MAX). 48(ram) 1TB(ssd) .
I'm trying to install Adobe Photoshop, but I'm unable to do anything as I get the "Could not use the type tool because the scratch disks are full" error message. I tried looking up the solution, but most articles and videos basically say you need more RAM or use an external hard drive. But as I stated, I have a new laptop with nothing installed other than Google Chrome.
Here's a list of what I tried;
- Purging Cache
- Delete Temp Files
- Sudo Purge via Terminal
- Swap Scratch Disc - I do have 2 external drives (4tb each), they are not options in Photoshop. Although they do appear on my desktop and in DiskUtility.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
