hello, my phone was stolen almost two weeks ago. i activated lost mode and attempted to remotely erase the devise (however it is still pending). I can see on find my iphone my phone is in a town in Romania. Although i started to receive text messages like the one in the image, and i just wanted to double check and ask if this could be true and can the people that have my phone actually access my data.
They want you to provide them with your Password so they can remove it from your account and use it for themselves. Currently all of your data is protected and will remain that way as long as you do not give them any information.

It is not unusual to receive a message from "Apple" or "Apple Support" claiming that your iPhone has been found......and you just need to provide a "few more details".....(like your passcode, Apple ID, Password, etc)......so the phone can be returned to you.
These are scams as well. You know this because Apple does not get involved at all with lost or stolen phones.
Ignore and delete any messages like this that you might see.
