Can I use a 13” iPad Air case for the new 13" iPad Pro 2024?

I am asking because this 13" iPad Pro 2024 is so new the cases on sale are very limited, but I am finding cases for the iPad Air that would suffice. Are they are both similar in size and shape? If so, can I just get a case meant for the Air and use it on my Pro?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 17

No, not really.

The 13" iPad Air is slightly shorter, narrower, yet thicker than an iPad Pro, so a case for it will probably be too tight for the iPad Pro. But more importantly, the camera cut out in cases for the iPad Air will not accommodate the large camera bump of the iPad Pros, so it will be obscured, and the iPad Pro will not sit correctly in the case.
