How do I deactivate a lost Mac?

I have lost my old Mac. I want to deactivate it from my account but cannot figure out how to do so. I’m going in circles in support! Very frustrated! In need of assistance!

Mac Pro is locked and owner is dead so cannnot get password. Bought a 2019 Mac Pro from an estate sale. Unfortunately, 'Find my Mac' is active on it and the system is locked. Since the owner is dead, I cannot get the password from them, and they are obviously not around to deactivate 'Find my Mac'. How can I get the system reset to factory defaults so I can use it?
