Cash App is a service of Square and their parent company Block. Block is not a bank and does not issue Cash App cards or receive funds.

Sutton Bank is the bank that issues and supports Cash App. When you sent funds to Cash App, you sent funds to Sutton Bank.

Not too confusing huh? 😀😀 Just read on!

The funds you transferred are not from Apple Pay. Apple is not a bank and Apple Pay is a payment service. Think of it as a pipeline that only handles data, not the funds.

Apple Cash is where your funds came from. Apple is not a bank. The bank that issues and supports Apple Cash is Green Dot Bank. So what really happened was you sent funds from Green Dot Bank to Sutton Bank.

Do you still need to cancel the transfer?
