Native apps disappeared

Out of the blue, native apps such as calendar and weather just disappeared from the Apple Watch Series 3. I noticed it when suddenly my watch faces were empty because the complications vanished. Then I after a while I noticed the Apple Watch trying to download those apps, they briefly came back as normal and after a few minutes, vanished again. I have never deleted those apps from the watch nor the iPhone, so it can’t be mirroring my iPhone. What did apple do in this last iPhone update to cause all this havoc? I am now with an unreliable piece of technology.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would normally be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system. However, this can be tricky with a series 3 watch due the watch's lack of memory. So do this at your own risk.

No normal user interaction should trigger an endless loop of app install and uninstall that basically renders the product useless. I’d understand if some jailbreak was involved or anything like that, but the only action I’ve taken was update the iPhone. I’ve google this issue and found many others with the same problem and no solution so I’ll just leave this here as more statistic and reach customer support.
