Missing apps on Apple Watch Series 0 after iOS 18.2 update

Hello everyone,

I have an Apple Watch Series 0 running WatchOS 4.3.2, and after updating my iPhone 12 to iOS 18.2, I noticed that apps were not installing on my watch. I tried to resolve the issue by resetting my watch and attempting to pair it again with my iPhone.

However, this time, I also discovered that several of Apple's built-in apps—such as Stocks, Maps, Weather, Mail, Apple Music, and Calendar—have disappeared from my watch. These apps are no longer available, and I'm unable to install them again.

Has anyone else experienced this issue after updating to iOS 18.2? If so, were you able to find a solution? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I prefer not to replace electronic devices until they stop working or no longer meet my needs. For instance, my first-generation Apple Watch still supports Apple Pay, lets me check emails, send messages, make calls, check the weather, monitor my heart rate, and track calories. New devices often push features we don’t really need, presenting them as necessities. Most people don’t even use half of the features they pay for. I’d rather stick with what works for me.
