startup login process stakes long time

Been running relatively new MacBook Pro (M1Max / 64GB RAM / OS Sonoma 14.5) and have noticed crazy long startup + login times over the last few OS updates. I'm running full Adobe Suite + Dropbox. The computer eventually gets up and running, but it's getting annoying. Was wondering if Acrobat Collaboration Synchronizer might be the culprit as it's one of the 2 items that launch at startup. Thoughts?

One other thing you can check is to see what apps are set up to automatically open during the startup process. This process definitely slows the startup. Check what is optioned to startup by opening System Settings. Then click on General in the left column. Then click on the Login Items logo in the right window. The window will then display which apps are optioned to open during the startup process. You can click them off and speed up the startup process.

By far the easiest way to cause poor performance, instability, overheating and crashing is to install ANY third-party speeder-uppers, Cleaners, Optimizers, Virus scanners, Bit Torrent, or a VPN that you installed yourself. The main reason is that they are relentless in scanning your files, non-stop, looking for virus-like patterns in Everything, or looking for files that have changed. When completed, they do it all again.
