Watch issues after 17.5.1 Update

Updated my 11 pro max to 17.5.1 yesterday. Now weather and stocks do not work on my watch. Anyone else?

I understand. Try to force restart the iPhone: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support. This procedure is tricky the first time you try it. Don't hesitate to repeat it. You must see the Apple logo for it to succeed.

Thanks for the informations. I believe you are correct: these issues are connected.


First, reset the network settings on the iPhone: tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note that this also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.


If this fails, the nuclear option is to be considered. Unpair the watch, backup the iPhone, erase it completely, restore the iPhone and pair the watch as a new watch.
