How do I manually see/change Cell Network provider AFTER iOS 17

Hi All,

It used to be simple on mobile phones to turn off auto network search to manual and see what providers you had. When I would roam in different countries I could pick maybe for a better rate or signal. I know I used to be able to turn off on the iPhone the auto Network and at least see what is available. As of iOS 17 and maybe before I no longer can find that switch. I checked the cellular panel in settings up and down. I googled around and those old menus are gone.

A family member would like to switch to a different cell provider but we wanted to check if she had reception if the power/wifi goes out. My plan was to just check on manual mode to see if the network showed up.

I couldn't figure it out. Any thoughts? If not through apple is there possibly an app that would show the information ?

Thanks,

Philly

Hi SravanKrA

THANK you so much for taking the time and effort for the excellent screenshots. I had seen similar ones but I guess Apple/Providers customize to their delight. I do NOT have those options.

Sorry it took me a moment but I wanted to add my screenshots to show you and others

I guess nothing can be done with my provider

Cheers,

Philly

PS: Carrier services below had nothing of note
