Mac mini with multiple display issues.
I am experiencing a similar issue. I am running a Mac mini pre-M1 and am running three displays. One hdmi and two via thunderbolt usb c. All three typically work just fine (although they do glitch and flash black every now and again and randomly switch refresh rates /settings / And configurations like the thighs possessed but I gotta get this album finished bro! lol) one of the usb C displays has gone black and s**t the bed a few times but a little cable reseating / toggling / Fred Flinstone tapping (LIGHTLY) on the monitor typically kicks it right back on 🤦🏻♂️. (Bootleg I know but that’s how ballin on a budget goes lol) anyway I’m usually good to go or whatever you wanna call what I’m doing here lol but now suddenly One of the usb c displays is out. Can’t get it back on. Ive reseated cables. Unplugged power then re-plugged in the power. Nothing. The second usb display which is one of a pair of LG ultrafine 23” lcd monitors doesn’t even show up in system preferences. Er forgive me “system settings” now as I was backdated in os but just updated to Sonoma thinking that might fix the issue but still no luck. 🍀oh yes and once the thing went out and u couldn’t get it back on I figured maybe I should to shock the P-ram. Which didn’t do anything either so then that’s when I updated to Sonoma to no avail. so yea…ugh. Any body have any suggestions for me? I’m literally one session away from recording some awesome new stuff out of this makeshift booth I built for myself here and bam. Lights out. 🤦🏻♂️😂🤣😂 So yea. I run pro tools and logic and maschine and have a maschine mk3 and jam and Native Instruments S61 (mk2 I believe perhaps mk1🤦🏻♂️) hanging off this puppy with audio running through a mackie big knob studio + feeding a set of Avantones an a stereo set of compact Genelecs (the 8010s if memorie serves me correct here) anyway help! I’m neck deep in my first independent solo project and I have a documentary mix /sound design job on its way in and the timing of this hiccup is really jamming up my mojo right now! bad! 🤦🏻♂️ any and all advice is welcomed.
