Mac Mini M2 - Loss Of Display Output

I have a new Mac Mini M2 with a new Samsung Viewfinity S9 series 5K monitor connected via USB-C to USB-C (the HDMI just didn't work at all from the start)... I've been using them together for about 6 months... Every couple of months the screen goes black literally as I'm using the computer... I've been shutting the Mac down and changing the USB-C port for the monitor, and that seems to correct the problem for a while... I checked all the relevant settings on both devices to ensure there are no setting-related sleep and/or other issues... I checked the cable, and its fine... I seriously doubt its the monitor, and I'm very disappointed that I have to go through this with a new Mac Mini... Is there a permanent fix for this issue, or at least an easier corrective action to restore the display output without having to shut down and swap ports...

Set the Samsung supplied cable aside and test a short Apple Thunderbolt 4 Pro cable.

If that doesn't help, then send/take the poorly reviewed Samsung S9 back and get a different Display.
