How to check negative balance on Apple Cash transactions

I use Apple Cash to send my son spending money. I never send a lot of money and it should be very easy to account for. But on a regular basis, it goes into a negative in transactions does it show the accounting correct. I don’t even know who to contact to figure out what’s going on.
