Seems not all hearing aid manufactures produce "Made for iPhone" compatible hearing aids, although a large number do. Fewer manufacturers also make their hearing aids compatible with Mac computers.

I tried the link you kindly provided:

Seems some Widex hearing-aid models may work with PC (Windows) computers.

Apple Support's online article: List of Made for iPhone hearing devices - Apple Support

lists a large number of iPhone compatible Widex hearing Aid models,

yet none are marked with an asterisk (*) to show compatibility with Mac computers.

At the bottom of the above list: says: "MFi hearing devices marked with an asterisk (*) use bidirectional streaming, which enables you to talk hands-free. Devices that use bidirectional streaming are also compatible with Mac."

So it seems Widex, as yet, may not have introduced a hearing-aid with bidirectional streaming.

Mac computers that use bidirectional streaming:

require macOS Sonoma 14 or later and:

• MacBook Pro introduced in 2021 or later
• MacBook Air introduced in 2022 or later
• Mac Studio (all models)
• Mac Pro introduced in 2023 or later

ie: Some of the M1, all of the M2 M3 chip computers
