✽ whether restarting your Mac may help re-establish the connection: (Apple menu > Restart ... wait ... log-in)
✽ Seems your "NHS Oticon Engage" hearing aids are not listed by Apple Support as being Mfi compatible.
Those listed below with an asterisk (* )beside are compatible with some Macs, including MacBook Air introduced in 2022 or later using macOS Sonoma 14 or later.

As you have connected your hearing-aids previously using Bluetooth, you may want to try checking for a firmware, or an app, update from Oticon.
