If not, then what are good wireless ear buds that is easy to use, cheap (AirPods are expensive :/), have long battery life, noise cancellations, returnable, etc. for rare long trips like in airplanes for an elder man who uses iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, etc.?

What headsets are good for a particular person tends to be, well, personal. Age doesn't really have a lot to do with it. I'm eligible for Social Security and I love my AirPod Pros (2nd gen).
