How can I move my data from my MacBook Air to a new iPad?

I have an M2 MacBook Air and would like to trade it in for a new M4 iPad Pro. Since the iPad would be replacing the MacBook as my only computing device, I'd like to move all my data from the MacBook to the iPad. Is that even possible? Is there any way to set up a new iPad from a backup of a MacBook -- not a backup ON a MacBook, but an actual backup OF a MacBook?

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 14.5

One option would be to sync data from the Mac (iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive including Desktop and Documents option, and as much other data as possible using the options at Apple menu > Systems Settings > [username] > iCloud) and then turn those options on in the iPad.
