Not sure what gesture is making the mouse zoom into a page. Think its a sliding forward motion, which should just move the pointer, or a variation of the mouse forward movement but I can not zoom out again.

Hold down the Control key and do a scroll down gesture. By default Control and scroll up zooms in, Control and scroll down zooms out.

Holding down Command and Shift then clicking and dragging on the canvas will zoom In (moving mouse right) or zoom out (moving the mouse left). Holding down the Shift key and clicking/dragging will move the canvas around so you can scroll different parts of it into view.
Go to System Settings.
Go to Keyboard.
Go to Keyboard Shortcuts.
Click the "Restore Defaults" button.
Reboot your Mac.
Thanks but its a different issue. What you mentioned, Control key + scrolling, moves not only the page forward but the entire desktop. The issue im having is that moving the mouse in such a way zooms in on the webpage im viewing and I can not zoom out again. I would think it another move with the moue to zoom out but cant figure out which movement would do so.

nope, does not.
nope does not. just scrolls
again, it zooms in when i move the mouse in a certain way.. not sure what the certain move is, just happens sometimes and can not get it to zoom out.
