iTunes popping uo to my screen every few minutes

iTunes app continuously pops up to my screen though I don't want to use it. It is a nuisance since it interrupts what I'm doing or watching or reading. I want to erase the app because I don't use it. How do I do that? Thanks

how do i remove an app from my iphone that i removed from the home screen? i removed spotify from the home screen, thinking for some reason that keeping the data was just keeping some settings, and now i cannot remove the app itself to uninstall it and reinstall it.
