Safari will not open website due to a content blocker how do I fix that?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.5

Not a lot to go on, there.


Some possibilities…


Remove the content blocker. That is usually a browser extension in Safari.


If blocked by some add-on security app, remove that app per the vendor’s instructions, restart, and try again.


If parental controls are enabled in macOS, disable them, and try again.


If using an add-on VPN client on this Mac, remove that VPN client, restart, and try again.


If the content blocker is on a network being run by an IT group, contact the IT group managing the network.
