HomePod Gen2 playing music out of nowhere

My HomePod Gen2 had started to play music by itself unexpectedly. This is also causing frequent pausing when I was watching show on AppleTV. I noticed this since software update to version 17.5. Is there any known issue with this software version?

Nothing is pressing. I even clean the dust on the top of it. Now that it’s not just doing play/pause, it turn down the volume constantly. From the analytic report, it does match the scenario that I faced.

I’ve not noticed it on mine. Is it connected to an Apple tv 4k as the default audio? If so it can interrupt the Apple tv when HomePod begins playing. Some restarts might help on both devices. It’s also possible Siri misheard something that was said on the show you were watching. Occasionally when I’m watching tv this happens.

we aren’t HomePod engineers able to diagnose the analytic reports.
