Recently I updated ios 17.5 this cause my 15 pro max is over heating and battery draining problem I charged twice a day.. and phone facing overheating issues.

Update to iOS 17.5.1 first to see if the issues persist
If they persist, please go to settings>battery to see if there is any app that is consuming a lot of battery. You might want to turn off background refresh for this apps
If you have checked that and the problem is still persisting, please force restart your iPhone to see if the issues persist
