We purchased iPhones and subscribed for the free 3 month period of Apple TV. We want to use that on our TV. When the Apple TV app comes up it shows signing up for a 1 week trial. Several years ago when we bought our iMac and transferred to TV it was just bring up the Apple TV app and enter our Apple ID. How do we get the 3 month trial usage on our TV?

Thank you. I googled a bit and ended up going to our Amazon account (we have a Firestick on that particular TV). From that I got the AppleTV app and placed it on the TV. Then just used my phone camera to read the QR and we were in just like that. I was ready with my Apple ID but didn't even need to enter it. When I had initially pulled the app showing on our TV it wanted to do the 1 week trial so I had to find a work around.
You should only need to log in with your Apple ID
