Daisy chain on Macbook Pro

I just bought brand new displays - DELL P2425HE. I configured them to work as daisy chain just fine on my very old dell from 2019. Now when I connect my new mac (arrived today), I see screen on both external displays, but those 2 are mirrored and behave as 1 display. I cannot distinguish them and anyhow configure them to be extensions. How to fix that, anyone else having same issues?

Macs don't support DisplayPort MST daisy-chaining.

If your Mac has Thunderbolt ports, and supports multiple external displays, you can connect a Thunderbolt dock to the Mac, then plug two displays (which could be non-Thunderbolt displays) into it. Your system profile output shows that your Mac has a M3 Max chip, so it is capable of driving multiple displays.

Other World Computing, SonnetTech, and CalDigit all carry an assortment of Thunderbolt docks, some of which might suit your needs.

Use multiple displays with your Mac

Extended desktop mode allows you to select the native resolution of the external display.

Using Extended Desktop Mode instead of Mirror Display Mode. Mirror display also mirrors the display resolution.

I tried all that, the thing is, I do not see the display in the "Displays" screen mentioned. I see Built-in Display there + ONE DELL P2425HE.

I see 2 of them if I connect them separately (second one using HDMI).

Daisy chaining displays on the Mac requires a connection to a genuine ThunderBolt device first Display or Dock using a genuine ThunderBolt cable...

When I run system profiler, it outputs also only one display:
