Would an iPhone 15 Pro Max purchased in Ukraine work in USA?

Hello.

Would an iPhone 15 Pro Max purchased in Ukraine work in the USA? What specifications should the iPhone have? Should the eSIM or Global version be purchased?

Thank you in advance.

An unlocked iPhone purchased in Europe will certainly “work” although it likely won’t have access to all of the frequency bands which are available in the U.S.

Other than phones sold in the Chinese markets … all iPhone 15s accept eSIMs

(those sold in the U.S. accept ONLY eSIMs.)

It’s always recommended to purchase any iPhone in the country where it will primarily be used.

I’m not sure I understand the question.

A device purchased in Ukraine will have frequency bands appropriate for the region …

… and both nanoSIM and eSIM “slots” on ANY phone by definition provides a “Global” capability.

What you DO want is a phone which is NOT “carrier locked” … this generally means you pay “Full Price” … as the local carrier isn’t subsidizing the purchase.

BUT the phone is then ALL YOURS and you can then provision into it any SIM, anywhere, at your choosing.
