Cannot download apps despite having iOS 16

When I try to download a high number of apps from Apple store I get the message that I need to have iOS 15 or higher - but I have iOS 16 already. I’m then not able to download the app. What is going on?

iPhone X, iOS 14

Go to settings>general>software update to confirm that you have installed iOS 16

If this is the case, try and force restart the iPhone to see if the issues persist

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Press and hold the side button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
