Using Google Maps with Apple Watch - Goggle Timeline impact

Hello,

My phone is Apple iPhone SE 3 I use Google Maps app with Timeline on so I can track my location history. Google Maps can use always location services, even when app is not launched.

My goal is to improve my Google Maps Timeline (location history) accuracy because it seems that having phone in pocket/bag/etc. significantly decreases the GPS precision. I'm thinking of buying Apple Watch to solve this problem.

I found one Google forum reply which states that Apple Watch doesn't change/improve Google Timeline (location history),

Now provided I use Apple Watch with my iPhone (not planning to buy cellular version) and install Google Maps on the watch:

1. Will the precision of Google Timeline (location history) improve?
2. Will Apple Watches have separate setting to enable Timeline from the setting iPhone itself?
