How to fix Green/Yellow pixelated images issue on my iMac

I have a 2014, 27-inch, iMac with a 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5. I am running Big Sur 11.7.10.

Recently on some websites the pictures will initially show on the screen, however they then turn green/yellow and pixel out (don't know a better way to describe it). See below. It happens a lot on Lowes website and the screenshot below is from the GMC website.

Does anyone have any ideas what the issue is? I have tried restarting the Mac, shutting it down, but the issue keeps popping up.

Not to make you feel bad again but I have no problems on two different Macs running Big Sur 11.7.10 with Safari 16.6.1 on either the Lowes or GMC sites. Try booting Safari in Safe Mode by holding the shift key while launching. Perhaps it's an extension causing the problem.

Lowes does not like my version of Safari at all. I have to use Firefox.

No problem at the GNC and Lowe's sites with Safari on Ventura.

Download and run Etrecheck.

Copy the report

and use the Additional Text button to paste the report in your reply.

Then we can examine the report and see if we can determine the cause of the problem.

Does this happen with apps other than browsers?

I just tested several pages of the Lowe's site form my older iMac running a very outdated Safari 14 and the site works without issue.

Are you running any anti-virus or so-called "cleaning apps? Any ad blockers or VPNs?

Does the pattern change when you move the display fore and aft on its hinge?

I have had Chrome open on Lowe's and GMC's websites for a few days now and no lines are showing up like they do on Safari.

I really don't use other browsers. The only other one I use on rare occasions is Chrome. So I can't say if it does it on Chrome but I will look into it. Thank you.

I am not running any anti-virus apps, ad blockers, nor using a VPN. The pattern does not change.
