Macbook in humid conditions

Hi, I mostly live in the tropics where it is humid, hot & rainy. My previous macbook shut down due to humidity in the display screen so I got it replaced but once again it happened. I have now just bought a new macbook pro and I am wondering if a cover would be beneficial to avoid this stress related issues. thanks in advance

You don't say exactly which sub-model of Macbook Pro you bought. but I doubt its Operating Conditions specs are any different from those shown for this model:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, M2, 2022) - Technical Specifications - Apple Support

Note this:

Are you asking about a case in which to transport or store the computer, or a hard shell case that stays on the computer while it is operating?

The latter can do no good because the fan (or fans) inside the Macbook Pro run all the time to cool critical internal components. In a high-humidity environment, there is not way to bring in cooling air without injecting moisture.

A sealed moisture-resistant case for transport or storage might help if you are constantly moving from a high-humidity environment—outdoors— to an environment with refrigerated air—modern home or office building. Even then, the device needs time to equilibrate slowly to its new setting before opening the case to avoid condensation in many settings. Example:

The enemy of electronics in not humidity per se, but condensation, often caused by cooler temperatures inside your computer when placed in warmer, very humid air.

To RUIN your computer, place it is the freezer, then take it out and start it up before allowing its internal temperature to adjust to ambient temperature. When the fans start up, they draw in that warm humid air, and if the metal inside is cold, condensation could form small amounts of liquid water inside.

To keep your computer for a good long time, be mindful about when its internal surfaces are cool, and wait until it has adjusted to ambient temperature before use.

Your Mac is specified for use in humidity up to 95 percent-- NON CONDENSING
