Apple music syncing to iPad

I have issues with syncing my apple music subscription from my iphone to my ipad. On my ipad it just says “an error occured”. I have tried syncing libraries but the ipad settings don’t even show that option. Also I have checked and am signed in with the same apple id. I have also tried deleting the app and turning of the iPad. Nothing has worked so far. Could anyone please help?:)

Here is Apple’s official documentation on this - Use Sync Library with your Apple Music subscription - Apple Support.

I’d recommend doing the following:

Verify both devices are using the same Apple ID (I know you’ve marked this step as done).
Verify both are syncing Apple Music to iCloud.
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Your Name.
3. Tap iCloud.
4. Tap Show All.
5. Scroll down and make sure Music is toggled on.
Verify Sync Library is toggled on for all devices.
1. Open Settings.
2. Scroll down and tap on Music.
3. Toggle on Sync Library.

If the above three don’t work, I’d refer to Apple’s official documentation on syncing libraries between devices.
