I bought an apple gift card and every time i try to purchase something in a game (it’s a valid game that allows the gift card to be used) it attempts to take funds from my mastercard that i have for my icloud subscription, i can’t find out how to use the apple gift card instead of my mastercard.

Yes i have redeemed the card into my balance but every purchase i make says “no funds were deposited from the account” and it doesn’t allow me to have the object im trying to purchase, it was one of the gift cards you purchase at a gas station and they activate it there
