What does the privacy icon mean on my iPhone?
Occasionally, my privacy icon pops up, and then I go to get more information and it says a microphone and sometimes camera. What does that mean?

Could you elaborate more on what you mean by “privacy icon pops up?”
This could mean the microphone and/or camera is currently in use (or sometimes recently used). This can also be signified by a green or orange dot (green for camera, orange for mic).
If you want to change permissions an app has,
- Open Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on Privacy & Security.
- Click on Microphone or Camera.
All the apps that have access to these two features will be listed here and you can revoke access if needed.
