I was given the wrong Apple Pencil at the Apple Store

There is no 6th Gen 11” iPad Pro with M2 processor.

The Pencil Pro does not work with the M2 iPad Pro 11’ though so the OP needs to verify if they truly have the M2 or the new M4. It works with the iPad Air M2 but not the 11’ iPad Pro M2

I understand that but at this point all you can do is contact Apple to see if you can exchange via mail if you don’t have a store in your home country that can/will exchange it. Also, depends on if you are still in the return/exchange period which is usually 14 days. If you bough both on launch day you may be too late as of today May 28th (or tomorrow the 29th).

You’ll need to contact Apple Support and figure out how to resolve the issue. If you contact the store in Vancouver they should be able to work something out for you. Make sure you speak to a store manager.

The OP stated they received the Pencil 2nd gen. That doesn’t work with the iPad Air M2. So they still need to contact Apple to see what they need to do to exchange it assuming they aren’t past their 14 day return period

The Apple Pencil 2nd gen does work with the iPad 11 Pro M2. Did you mean that you have the M4? There is no 6th gen 11’ iPad Pro (the m4 would be the equivalent of the 5th gen).

Both Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil USB-C work with your IPad Air 11” M2.
