How can I fix the issue of my old ID showing up on iTunes after an update?

After a recent update, my old ID is showing up. I tried typing in my "new" ID and password but it isn't

being recognized by iTunes so I cannot update any apps. I changed my ID 3 years ago and up to this

point, it has worked without problems and none of the apps refused it. Any suggestions? Just so you know, other apps or sign-ins have been and continue to be fine with the "new" ID.

Thank you,

Maxcie

I understood, but I don't know anything else about you or your setup.. So I started with the basics. One thing I find confusing is that starting with Catalina, Macs no longer use iTunes. You tag says you have Sonoma which uses Music (you don't have to subscribe to Apple Music). I don't know of any "recent updates" for iTunes on Macs (that is the forum you are in). Which operating system do you have?
