Im using a logitech mx keys mini, which has worked on several other MacBooks perfectly including this one, is now typing the wrong symbols. When i open keyboard viewer it shows the erroneous layout, as well as a few chinese symbols. This didn't start happening until i downloaded monterey

It sounds like the machine thinks you have a Japanese (JIS) keyboard instead of ANSI or iSO. This note may help
