Why isn't my Apple gift card option available for upgrading iCloud storage?
I have a balance of 10.00 on my apple account and I’m trying to upgrade my iCloud storage but it’s not giving me the option to use my gift card

Gift card balance on your account is used automatically before charging any other payment method. There's nothing you need to do.
You do however, have to have a valid and verified payment method on your account. If there's an issue with your payment method it won't use the balance until the issue is resolved and will request you verify your payment method.
Once the payment method has been verified, it will use the balance and not charge the credit or debit card though.
