Could my iPhone have been compromised by a spam email?

So a couple of days ago I got an email to my iCloud, which I rarely use, saying that they had installed spyware on my phone because of some link I clicked and that they had some videos of me in a compromising position that they would send to my family, friends and coworkers if I didn’t send them some from of cryptocurrency. I deleted it almost as soon as I got it because it set off some “scam email” red flags in my head but I’m still a little bit paranoid. As far as I know I haven’t clicked on any random links that could’ve made me vulnerable. And I know deep in my brain that this is most likely not true, but it would really put my mind to ease if I knew if putting spyware on my phone wasn’t possible and that I’m being scared for no reason. Like I said, to the best of my knowledge, I haven’t clicked on anything sketchy and my phones not jailbroken. Anything would help! Thank you!

You may want to unblock the sender as these scam messages usually spoof your own email address as the sender. Which means you blocked yourself (as far as your mail app and/or mail service are concerned) and you won't get any more emails at all.

And no, there's nothing else you need to do. It's purely a scam. No matter what it said, they have no such information on you.

The “hello pervert” mail is getting spammed to everybody, if that’s this one.

The “here’s your old password” mail got spammed to everybody, too.

There are lots of these.

Panic is the whole point of these.

Here is a write up on one of these scams from 2018:

Delete it. there’s no hack, no camera, no secrets, nothing but lies.

If these folks had what they claim, they’d show you compromising photos.

They’d have pillaged your data, your passwords, your credit card info, and your camera roll, too.
