Application menu bar is not responding on MI Mini
Sadly these pages close threads that are still useful and relevant.
I had this problem today 2024 with M1 Mini and found this suggestion is the easiest way to fix it and could not thank the user for providing a quick and easy fix with no lengthy restarting etc.

This is totally not a solution and should be fixed soon BUT going to the login screen from the icon on the right side of the menu bar allowed me to get the left side functional without having to restart the whole thing!
Navigating to the Login Window > fixed my unresponsive menu bar.
