How do I reset my iCloud password?

iCloud uses your Apple ID and password. If you only have one Apple ID, it would be the same ID and password as you used to log into this forum. If you have another and have forgotten the ID or password, see the following:

Just don't lock the note and forget the password to the note! ;-)

For a few really important passwords, some people put them in Contacts. They make up a dummy name and put the password in notes. The thought is that people make look in Notes for passwords but maybe not Contacts.

Might I suggest that once you have retrieved your password that you save it in the Notes app on you Mac and or on you iPhone or iPad. It has saved me countless time from having to reset it.
