Two numbers connected to One AppleID

Hi I just got my 2nd phone and it came with a new number. I connected my AppleID to the new number and now there are two numbers connected to it. Is there a way I can get it to where if someone calls my old number it automatically reroutes the call to my new number?

Perhaps Set up call forwarding on iPhone may provide you with an option.

"Set up call forwarding on iPhone

You can set up call forwarding on iPhone if you have cellular service through a GSM network.

If you have cellular service through a CDMA network, contact your carrier for information about setting up call forwarding."
