Can someone still text my new cell number if they don't have it?
If I change cell numbers can someone still text me messsges to my new number even if they don’t have the new number?

If you use iMessage, you can still receive texts that are sent to your Apple ID, the phone number is not needed. You will no longer receive the message if they are SMS messages because those are only sent to a phone number.
